The Upper Barrakka Gardens are one of Valletta's most beloved public spaces, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the Grand Harbour and the Three Cities. Originally built as a private garden for the Knights of St John, the gardens are now open to the public and are home to the famous Saluting Battery, which fires a cannon salute daily at noon and 4pm.
