Saluting Battery

The Saluting Battery is one of Malta's most vibrant visitor attractions, located high along Valletta's eastern historic ramparts with unrivalled views of the Grand Harbour. Possibly the oldest saluting battery still in operation anywhere in the world, it features a fully restored gunpowder magazine, artillery collection and daily cannon salutes fired at noon and 4pm. Guided tours available three times daily.
